Location
I am located in Los Angeles, CA. I frequently visit New York City and the Bay Area for guest spots.
I am planning to visit more places soon, subscribe to my newsletter for travel updates.
Pricing and Payment
Flash is flat-rated and pricing starts at $250. Customs are rated at $250/hr for black and grey and $300/hr for color. Please keep in mind that customs usually are a minimum 1.5-2 hours.
Non-refundable deposits ($150-250) are required to book your tattoo. A $100 drawing fee is applied for custom tattoos. The drawing fee is subtracted from your deposit.
For multi-session projects, your deposit is applied at your last tattoo session. Cancellations and reschedules that are not made within a week’s notice of your appointment will require a new deposit to set a new date.
Larger scale projects are rated at half-day and full-day rates. 30% of the agreed session time rate will be due as a deposit for larger scale customs.
Deposits are accepted via Zelle only. Cash is the only form of payment I accept on the day of your appointment.
Booking Process
For booking inquiries, please fill out a booking form or send me an email at hello@quiaracapellan.com
All custom projects require a virtual consultation so that we can meet and speak about your idea in depth. Consultations are complimentary and are usually about 15 mins long.
Once your request is accepted and a deposit is submitted, you will receive a calendar confirmation for your appointment and a confirmation email will go out the week of your appointment.
Designs and Customs
Some flash designs are available for view on Instagram. Most of my flash designs are password protected and available for view once an appointment is booked. I also have a collection of designs on paper that are only available for view during your appointment time.
Custom designs are not available for view until your appointment. For guest spots, there is an option to schedule a design consultation so that we can review your design together and make sure there is enough time to make last min changes during your appointment.
Aftercare
-
I highly recommend using Dr. Bronner’s baby blue liquid soap or dial antibacterial soap to clean your tattoo.
-
To moisturize, I recommend using raw shea butter (without any added oils or fragrances) or an unscented lotion.
-
Please refrain from extreme physical activity ( working out, biking, running etc.) for at least 3 days with your fresh tattoo.
-
Make sure that you wear loose fitting clothing and breathable fabric like cotton over your fresh tattoo. Do not soak, go swimming, sit in a sauna or sunbathe with your fresh tattoo.
If Instructed, Leave plastic second-skin wrap on for 3 days , after 3rd day remove wrap under running warm water. After bandage removal, with clean hands, wash 2-3x a day with unscented antibacterial soap. Moisturize after cleaning.
Follow washing steps for up to a week, or until fully scabbed over. Once completely scabbed over, wash once a day and moisturize when needed.
